I am very happy that Abby's sister has such a loving family! I hope all the puppies have a good home. I think if it were up to me, I would have taken the whole litter! Was the little boy from the litter still there when you picked up Chanel? My son fell in love with him and last night when I told him about Chanel (which he thought was way cool that we found each other) was wondering about the little boy. Also, Pink bow girl, who was just darling...was she there when you picked up Chanel? She had quite the little attitude! She cracked me up! I bet whoever got her has their hands full. Lynn said she would probably have to be in a one dog household.

I kept being drawn to Abby when looking at pictures because she had more dark on her face than the others. Although I had a terrible time making a decision. Ashley said she chose Bandit from his 3 week pictures and I was impressed! I just couldn't decide, but always inquired about the "darker little girl" Then Tony and I went to see the puppies when they were 4 weeks old and Tony picked the "darker little girl" right off the bat! So I figured it was serendipity! It was later that I decided I wanted a second baby, so they'd have a playmate. Seems fate had something in mind for us already. Lo and behold, Daisy came along And now we can have the best of both worlds! How great is that!

Abby's legs get tangles and mats on them too I hate it! It's really depressing since her coat is so beautiful! I just hate the thought of cutting her hair! I'm going to have to though. Not to mention, Tony and I took the girls for a walk yesterday and it took Abby way too long to cool off after the walk. I was a little worried about her, but she's fine now. So, in the long run, I think a haircut will be in her best interest. I wonder how a groomer will handle her though, since she hates even being combed or brushed. It really worries me.

OK, I'm rattling on and on....
Abby says HI to Chanel

Yes yes. I knew that it was in addition to your baby girl! When I had asked to switch to the "red bow", I had no idea anyone else was looking to get her. I emailed Lynn the day she put up the pictures below...I couldn't resist that little face! She told me she was still available, so I switched.

I came to get her in the morning on March 28th. All the puppies were there. I got to pet all of them. I would have taken them all if I could have! LOL! She did say that someone was coming in to pick one little girl up after us. It must have been you! I felt so silly when we went there. We came from Greenwood (3 1/2 hours away) and I had NO CLUE that there was a time change! I didn't even think about it, I was REALLY excited to get Chanel. So we though we got there like 20 minutes early...but no...we got there an hour and 20 minutes early!!! I couldn't believe it! I FELT HORRIBLE! But the moment Lynn put her in my arms...I was so excited I forgot all about the time! Lynn showed me all of the puppies, they were all in a pile sleeping together! Before we left, we put Chanel back in there to go potty before we hit the road. She didn't potty, but went and cuddled right back up with all of them to say goodbye. It was the sweetest thing ever!!!!!!!

About the grooming. We took Chanel the day after we got her. We took her petsmart for a $15 puppy trim (includes bath, drying, massage, nail trim, ear trim, face trim, ear cleaning, and paw trim). She's been 5 times so far and is getting ready for her 6th time this week. We've never had the rest of her hair cut...I don't know if I want to yet. We might let it grow and see how it looks...then decide. Because she hates it so much, my groomer said to brush her everyday and get her used to it. She's a yorkie...she has to be groomed or shaved...and I prefer to just keep her groomed! So we're working on it daily. And she has gotten better. Just don't give up...or she wins...and she knows it! LOL!

Okay...now I'm just going on and on...LOL!

Tell Abby and Daisy that we said hello to them!
