Wow that sounds like a harsh situation.... And I think she's asking for advice, not judgement... BIG difference! But tough love is sometimes needed!! (when you know someone a little better!!)
How bout this.... Do you have any other friends you and the pups can stay with? Maybe then you BOTH can get jobs,or at the very least one of you, that way your not just living waiting for someone to pass for inheritance $$... Honestly, that does come across a little wrong, even makes me feel weird!! lol I must say though that you both should be working!! Hope that doesn't come across as judgement! Just trying to be honest with you and helpful at the same time!!
