Smile Oster Golden A-5 is better

and I would not recommend a #7f blade in the hands of a novice groomer/home groomer.

I have a wonderdful yorkie grooming DVD that will tell you the correct equipment to buy, where to buy it, and how to safely groom your yorkie at home. I show you a few different clips and head styles. The DVD is 2 hours and 2 min long, very detailed.

All of the details are listed on my website:
Crown Royal Yorkshire Terriers

Several members here have bought my DVD and all have had a good response from it. I just broke the 2000 mark on how many dog grooming DVD's I have sold!

I do give YT members a $10.00 off discount from my web site price. This offer expires June 1. If you want this DVD, just PM me.

I have a puppy now. I plan on growing the coat out until 6 months of age and then shave and grow it again.

I have done some research and found the Andis single speed shaver with the #10 and # 7f blades which were recommended elsewhere. Sound about right?

Also what is the best way to clean up the hair around the muzzle and eyes. Just shears?

Thanks in advance.
