My Amelia, as you may know, has drop ears.... they were erect as a pup until her owners grew out her coat and never trimmed the ears.... both sire and dam have erect ears.

Once I got her home, I shaved and trimmed the ears... taped... shaved, trimmed... taped.... and finally, they stood..... for a month! Now they're down again....

She's a year old and I'll probably continue to get her ears to stand... but if they don't, I'm curious as to whether I should reconsider breeding her just for that reason alone.

Lots to mull over lately....
