If he is having diarrhea, then cut back on the total amount of lactulose per day, but continue to break the dosage up into 3x a day. If he's only going once a day, then lactulose needs to be increased. Your vet should be able to help you with this.
Have you changed anything in his diet?
Going to the vet would be a good idea...
I took him to the emergency animal clinic, and he was diagnosed with coccidia. The blood is bright red, and he has not been vomitting. He's taking 1 cc of Lactulose. That is the amount I can give him before he starts having diarrhea.
