Default Hunting and eating bugs

What about this bug hunting thing? It seems dangerous to me. There are brown recluse and black widow spiders here, the tarantellas will be migrating soon (saw one a few days ago), red wasps, and who knows what else. However, I can't deny that a cricket can provide fun for a very long time. For that matter, what about snakes. We have a magnificent container garden on one of the decks, but I'm afraid to let Susan go out there, first because it's too high (nine steps off the ground), but also because we've seen lots of salamanders hiding in the containers and there could be snakes also. Our son killed a copperhead and a pygmy rattler not far from here last summer.
