The reason one MAY want to breed back to a regular Yorkie is to get a particular trait into a line. Say you have a yorkie that has really nice small ears or a great coat or a terrific top line and you may have a Biewer that maybe a bit weeker in that area.. just like breeders always do. The first generation turns out to look like Yorkies BUT then when they become adults and you breed them, they produce a litter that consists of some Biewers and some Yorkies. This brings in a new blood line into the Biewer line, and also what ever desirable trait you were looking for. The next generation produces even a higher percentage of Biewers and I believe the generation after that produces all Biewers (I may not be exact on that, I've never bred past the first generation so I don't know the exact ratio, there are others on this forum with far more experience in this area than I).
