My guys used to go crazy when they would see the cats. I could not get to all of them at once to make them stop. So I stood by the cats and bared my teeth at them and growled low, letting them know that this was MY cat and they needed to leave it alone.
When one would get close, I would nip at it. I did this twice, and after that all I had to do was growl and bare my teeth from a distance and they would just turn and walk away.
People saw me do that and were amazed at how the dogs responded. |
