It does not matter what kind of dog the father is as to whether or not Mom will whelp naturally or not...The Mother determines the size of puppies being born...The adult weight of the pups will be determined by both parents...With that being said if it was a dog with a large head (such as a Shih Tzu) then she may have some difficulty whelping
She will need an xray the last week to take a look and see how things are going...The xray will show head size and pelvis size...Make sure you have a vet on hand if you have any problems whelping...
