She is now 23 yrs old...she just published this book. She was just on Larry King Live. I read this book, and I must say that it gave me a better insight into the culture of the FLDS. It was her testimony that put Warren Jeffs away in prison.
It also has helped me understand most of whats going on in texas right now, and I realize how difficult this must be for the mothers and the children - but the Texas Officials are doing the RIGHT thing. |
I totally agree with you. I think they are doing the right thing as well. Ignoring the situation IMO would just be WRONG. Bottom line.
I also saw Elissa's interview on Larry King. What a brave woman she is! I need to go and pick up her book - I think I would really enjoy it
