First of all, she is absolutely too cute!!!
Mojo's "bangs" are very long (were very long, just recently cut them
), and I never did a "true" top knot. I would pull his bangs back and make a pony tail, put a bow over the band and he was good to go. The hair in the pony tail just falls back between his ears, down the back of his head and mixes w/ the rest of the hair.

For LilyGrace, we have learned to keep the kind of "visor-cut" for her bangs, but we make it a longer cut, not the really short visor cut that groomers normally do. With this, we can still leave her hair down or pull it back into a small pony tail.
I have never seen a Yorkie (if I have, I don't remember) w/ a long body and short head hair. I have always see the short body hair and longer face (puppy cut - which is what we just did w/ Mojo
) Maybe someone would have a picture if they have done it before.
