I think that the children being put into foster care was the ONLY option. At least until they find out EXACTLY what is going on and what kinds of conditions the children are living in. I think I heard something about SEVERAL children having broken bones, either in past or present - I can't remember which it was.
I'm sorry but IMO those mothers can proclaim all they want how much they love their children, but if you TRULY love your children, you DO NOT allow them to get married to a 30, 40, 50 year old man at 13 or 14 years old and have a child. And if it is forced - then LEAVE. That's all they have to do is LEAVE. I would NEVER let some man ARRANGE my daughters marriage with someone, let alone someone three or four times her age! All of these "mothers" claim they love their children so much, yet they allow this kind of nonsense to happen and it REALLY ticks me off.
Sorry but they can whine and cry all they want....who I feel sorry for here, is the children. THEY don't HAVE a choice. And it's really sad. |
