I can see both sides to this argument. Here in NY we have flogged and have to keep an eye because social services gets a bit remiss on their duties. Lots of children have died because of the lax. So I think they got a call and did their best to get in and do the best to save those kids.
I can see their frustration of thinking there wasn't enough proof before hand but for the most part when there is smoke there is fire. I am sure that the govt had other information on this particular group. As they say big brother is always watching.
I personally think it was the right thing for them to storm in and remove those kids and sort it out later. Adults can make their own choices but if I were an ACS worker and got that call I would act now and deal with the paper work later. Too much red tape is put in to place and lots of innocents fall through the cracks because of it.
