Well the pups are 8 weeks today.
Their weights are:
Toby Blue - 1lb 14.5 oz - (30 oz)
Asher - 2lb 9 or 10 oz (41 oz) - he's getting a lil too big for our little scale
I do have a question though, since they are 8 weeks they don't show much sign of being weaned.
I do as Deb did and leave out Dry kibble (Royal Canine) and some graded kibble of the same brand. Royal Canine MiniBabyDog30 same that Deb left out.
3 Times a day I will soak a little milk replacer Eukiba and mix it with some solid kibble and some chopped up kibble. They show interest in it and Asher will eat a ton, but little Toby Blue only licks where he can get the milk. Sometimes we'll see him chew a little but not much.
He is still is gaining weight in line with Kim's (yorkiepassion.com's) chart and he's nursing strong still. Daisy isn't kicking him off she now lays down calmly to let them nurse.
We brought Daisy to the vet to check on her discharge since it was still a little bloody, vet took some x-rays and did some blood work and everything was good. What a relief! She is still active and the discharges have gone away for the most part. The vet also said that they should nearly be weaned and we should start removing Daisy from the pin more since they could be stealing her nutrients, etc. He also says we should fix her ASAP since we know we aren't going to breed her, this would prevent any further complications.
Is there anything else I can try in order to wean them, we are keeping them so they aren't going to be sold or anything. But we just want them to eat well.
Thanks for any advice!
