The breakway collar that I am using for my 10 pounder Pao is a cat's breakaway collar. There are 2 types as far as I know, one is normal collar with a breakaway plastic buckle. The other type has some sort of elastic on the collar itself so when puppy gets his collar caught on something, the elastic will stretch and their neck can come off easily. My baby is microchipped but I still feel better with a tag. It is much easier to read.
