Congratulations on soon getting your sweet Yorkie boy.
I had to laugh when you said, yours will be a little larger full grown, 6 to 8 lbs.
I'm not laughing at what you said just the weight. My Rudy is at least 15 lbs. There are several yorkie owners on YT who have bigger Yorkies.
Sorry, I don't have any pet birds, so don't have any advise for you on that.
