Food Question again. Sorry to be such a pain, but I need advice. A few days ago, I was told that Science Diet was not a good food and was given a reference to a list of better quality foods here. I emailed Chicken soup because it had such good reviews and just got my samples a couple of days ago. Since the nearest dealer is over an hour away, I went to their website to get dealer information to see if my friend that runs a pet supply store could order it for me. I found out that Chicken Soup is made by Diamond pet foods. I went to their site and found out that our local farm supply is a dealer of Diamond Pet foods. They actually carry a diamond puppy formula at our farm supply. This is a list of ingredients.
Ingredients
Chicken by-product meal, whole grain ground corn, wheat flour, chicken fat (preserved with mixed tocopherols), beet pulp, egg product, flaxseed, natural chicken flavor, salmon oil (source of DHA), fish meal, potassium chloride, salt, choline chloride, vitamin E supplement, iron proteinate, zinc proteinate, copper proteinate, ferrous sulfate, zinc sulfate, copper sulfate, potassium iodide, thiamine mononitrate, manganese proteinate, manganous oxide, ascorbic acid, vitamin A supplement, biotin, calcium pantothenate, manganese sulfate, sodium selenite, pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6), vitamin B12 supplement, riboflavin, vitamin D supplement, folic acid.
What do you think about Diamond puppy food. Is it comparable to Chicken Soup Puppy, or do you just think I should ask the farm supply to order Chicken Soup for me?? |
