A lot of people will say it doesn't work but I think it depends on the Yorkie. At 2 years old Bouncer would StILL have "accidents". We soon learned he was testing us as well. I bought a belly band and a doggie "diaper". After about 2 weeks, he realized "Oh...I pee on myself in here if I don't go when I get outside! I don't like this!" Now of course he is a 4.5 lb dog and they have tiny bladders and we have the ocassional accident, but he's SOOO much better now! As yucky as it sounds to let your dog "pee on themselves" it worked WONDERS for Bouncer.
