I am getting a puppy Friday, and the lady at Pet Smart said to take a pee pad and the first night and have him go on that. Then I should take that outside the next time and put it wherever I want him to go. She said to leave it there for about a week so that he will smell it when he goes. does this sound right? Do I need to do this? Ireally don't want to buy pee pads, but I want him to go in a certain spot outside.
