I would never ever breed a yorkie who was not show quality because in my mind, if you are going to do this you have to be sure you are doing it the "right" way. Now I'm sure everyone might have different definitions of what "right" is but in my mind that means above all never breeding a yorkie who had any kind of health problems in their lines and only breeding a show quality dog. I look at many pictures and try to look at my dog with a really unbiased eye but since I love her and I think she is absolutely the best doggie ever , I'm not always sure I do that. I am actually having her evaluated by someone locally and I really really want to start showing her so I hope they give me the thumbs up. I also would personally never breed an unregistered pup. I think if this is something you really really want to do, that would be great but please make sure you are doing it the right way and for the right reasons. No matter what you decide, I do think this has been an interesting thread and I have enjoyed reading it.
I think your pup (in the picture there) is so gorgeous...I hope you get the thumbs up too!

Like I said before...I didn't start this thread cause I am to the point of wanting to breed...I started it to learn and talk about the two sides. Should I decide to breed her in the future you can bet that I would do all my research and work prior...as well as think of the reasons why.

I actually ran into a retired Yorkie breeder not too long ago while out for a walk. She LOVED to hold my girl and was happy to answer coat growing questions and such for me. I got her number so I would certainly call on her for any questions in the future.
