I just got my Yorkie two weeks ago&so far it hasn't really been that much more work. The only thing that really keeps me busy is his potty training ... I take him out every hour on the hour, lol. He really loves my Chi for company. He's always wanting to play with her&sleep next to her
She usually doesn't allow it though, lol, but sometimes if she's in a good mood she'll play back with him. I think it's great that he has a playmate&I'm sure that my Chi will appreciate it a lot more once he's out of the puppy stage. I'm also a stay at home mom&my daughter does keep me quite busy, but I still have the time to give adequate attention to both of my dogs
In my opinion having two is great! The more the merrier actually, but my husband would NOT allow that, lol. He didn't even want me to get a Yorkie, but I wore him down&he finally caved, hahaa
