The reason Miko reacted to the blanket is because it had not been washed yet, and I guess they treat these things with so many chemicals.... His skin turned pink and he was scratching really bad. He never, ever scratches. He had an allergic reaction to it, and you could see it all over his skin. The parts that were raised, I looked closely, and it seemed as if they were raised from his scratching so much.

Wash the new things that you bought in dye free perfume free laundry detergent.

It's important to identify the allergen which in my case was the new blanket so that you can remove it or wash it or whatever. I hope they get better quick!!!
