Could it be a reaction to a particular type of pollen? Do you use anything like a shake and vac type thing or your carpet's ? My first little yorkie Max used to get a rash in his ear's they would go all bumpy and it seemed to happen the same time every year it seemed to be linked to a type of pollen that was around.
It is very difficult to find the cause sometimes, and so frustrating for you.Hope you get to the source of it.
