Poor babies...
Hives are the result of the body's immune system reacting to
something. The benedryl will counteract the histamine that creates the hives, and will temporarily relieve the symptoms, but if they are still exposed to the irritating source, or if the initial exposure was significant enough, they hives will continue to come back.
I've only had hives once in my life, and it was not fun (and the itchy palms and feet!!!
) Poor babies. I hope you find what's causing it soon, so they can get some relief.
