Yes, keeping the tips of their ears shaved will help her to hold up her ears. I would take her to a groomer just for the ear tipping and nail trimming.
Teething can also cause them to fall down. When you have her spayed, get all her baby teeth pulled that haven't fallen out by then and that will also help her. Having her spayed before a first heat (6-12 months old) will also help prevent some cancers later on in life.
