Sorry to hear that Paula. Is it a possibility that the pups may have rolled
around in the grass and got bitten by ants? They seem to be all over this
time of year having awaken to spring. If they were fire ants the pups would
have been in pain but regular ants can bite too.
Hope they are feeling better today.
