That's it in a nutshell! You said everything for me, thanks! No, I don't think you should feel quilty. God put dogs on this earth to be man's companion. They are our best friend (not our spouses?
). They are the ones who pick up on our moods. They are the ones who know when we need a hug... As moms, we give give give, and these little dogs are the ones who give back. My darling kids are sweeties, but they are human beings who will grow up and leave someday. I'll be proud of what they become. My puppies will be here til their last day, my little companions.
Okay, I forgot to mention my hubbie
He just doesn't talk as much as my Trixie. lol
