 Can we freeze small amounts of canned dog food?
The breeder sent Becks home with Royal Canin kibble and Ceaser wet. I plan to give him a week or so to settle in, and then switch him to either Innova or Merricks.
I am on day three of the wet Ceaser, and he has not even ate half of it. The Ceaser is cheap, so I don't mind throwing the rest of the container out...but when I change him over to a better brand, I will not want to waste it. I am wondering about freezing it into little daily servings...will this work?
Also, wwyd...there is one feed store that carries good pet food...they carry Innova, but they do not carry Merricks...and they can only get Wellness in wet. I had really wanted to put him on Merricks, but I would have to order it. I am wondering if I should just feed Innova, since it is convenient, or, take the plunge and just get the Merricks through the mail.
