Thanks! Thankfully last night he went poo on the carpet (oops!) &it was firm so I was able to get a great sample. He has gone poo many times since&it's been firm with no diarrhea or blood. Still though, better safe than sorry, so I'm calling up the vet right now to make an appointment.
