My daughter just changed to Nutro and both her dogs had the diarrhea all over her house. When a dog starts with diarrhea, take all food away for a day--just water. then add low fat cottage cheese with rice the next day, and then gradually add boiled chicken. Pumpkin does help diarreha! Anyway, my duaghter works in a emergency vet clinic and this is what they do.
