what I have done with my puppies and adults....
I lay them on their back and rub their paws regularly... so when I do cut their nails they think another little paw massage is coming, only cut the hook no shorter then you will never get bloodline. It has worked very well for me...
The puppies are very easy to do they love the paw massages and the adults now know they have no choice
