I have a little story about SS cards. When i had my purse stolen they did get my SS cards. I made sure to tell my parents to take those cards out of their wallets. Which they did do, they put them in their locked desk at home. Well one day their house was broken into and their cards were stolen. So it just doesn't really pan out like it should in any choice you make with those cards. Crooks are everywhere! |
Oh nO! That's so much worst than having a wallet taken, the theives were actually in their HOME! I hope that they protected themselves against ID theft. I guess the only safe place left is a safe deposit box... I'm so sorry to hear that. I wonder if you can be reissued a new SS #?
