Well if most owners are like me, then it's not a wonder why we never see them! lol Bouncer goes EVERYWHERE with me! Movies, grocery store, the mall, Wal-Mart, restaurants, etc. He has a special carrier that looks like a brown alligator skin purse that he stays in (unless we are in a place where he can come out, then I carry him in my arms). It has pockets on the outside that I can slip my money, ID, and cell phone into, plus anything else I need to carry with me. I can say I never really see Yorkies out and about but I know there are tons in Chattanooga b/c they are ALWAYS in my groom shop! I guess most people just hide theirs like me! lol
