I have a 6month old male Yorkie that is being tested for a liver shunt. I had the bile salts test done and they were high, so on the 31st he is going for an ultrasound. I am told the ultrasound will cost about $285. I really wish I didn't have to spend the money, but I have to know so Indy can be treated. My vet just put Indy on the Hills science diet L/D for liver disease. Kodiesmom is great and gave me some great websites that were really helpful. Good luck!
