This is what I do, I buy the brisket, the largest one I can find
. I set my alarm for 5am, and put it in the crockpot. I cover it with water & put 3 tbls of pickling spices with it. I let it cook for about 10-12 hours. It comes out falling apart and delicious. Then I cook my carrots, potatoes & cabbage with bay leaves.
Hubby loves it.
