It's hard to tell from pics, but from what I can see, the first one looks like a silky coat. The second one kinda looks like a mixture of silky/cottony. The third one looks more cottony.
My Jake has a silky coat, and Jackson has a cottony coat. When Jake still had his puppy coat, it would easily mat. I had to brush him 2-3 times a day to prevent mats. Once he lost his puppy coat, his hair was silky and never mats.
Jackson has a cottony coat, and his hair has never matted. He still has a lot of his puppy hair, but it's very soft and easy to take care of. Much easier than Jake's long, silky coat.
