Best night I've had so far.  We watched a movie last night and as he dozed off, I carried him and put him in his crate on my night table.  He woke up, but didn't get out.  He spent the night there, door was left open and this morning, he liked my hand a bit as he came out of the crate. 
He did eat, as he's probably starving at this point, so no Nutrical breakfast today! 
I did lie down on the floor and we had a short play time where he sniffed all around me. He does go into the pen to retreive toys, although he's still not that interested in them. So in my presence, the den isn't as scary as before.....but it will be when I run errands later. 
Housetraining.....still no progress as he misses every time and prefers the floors to the paper or patio. Oh, well.  Keep trying, right? 
So I guess he likes me a bit more today. He's on my lap right now, dozing off.

  glad to hear all is going better for you..he will love you and relax more as each day passes.. soon you will forget how frightened he was.. and the training takes time, patience and consistency for months.. when you think he is trained.. well do not let your guard.. for they can go back so easliy..
