My two do the same thing...and I only walk them in the yard. A dead worm is a wonderful delicacy; sticks are fun to chew on, and so are pine cones and pecans. Juju loves to dig tiny holes to look for small acorns. Now, their new trick is to go into this little area I made that has rocks and sea shells and 'shop'. At first it was small shells...now Betty has graduated to huge ones that she can barely carry. When she gets one, she wants to go in the house immediately before I take it away from her.
There are seashells everywhere!
