Hi,
I just had my 6 month old Yorki-poo neutered and he had to fast for over 12 hrs!!!!!!!! He only weighs about 5 lbs. I gave coco dinner at 5pm and again at 9pm. He had his surgery at 11:00am! I was scared he was going to keel over
before the surgery. When they did hid pre-surgery blood work they checked
his glucose levels. They were still in normal range. He did not eat again until
3pm! Coco did very well.
