I give flaxseed oil to my Yorkies. The recommended dosage that I have is 1 teaspoon twice a day per 25 pounds of weight. My dogs range from 3 to 13 pounds. The smallest ones I give 1/4 teaspoon once a day. You have to watch giving the oil supplements as too much can cause loose stools or diarrhea. I've also been told by a vet to stay away from beef as it is harder to digest. You can add calcium to the diet with yogurt or cottage cheese. Two pounds fully grown is ultra-tiny!! I can only imagine. I understand your concern in giving your baby a nutricious diet that she will eat.
