Soft-sided pet carriers are accepted as long as they are constructed of water-repellent, padded nylon with mesh ventilation on two or more sides."

My carrier is 15¼" x 11¾" x 9" so it is fine there. It also has mesh ventilation on both sides. But the part I am confused about it the padded nylon part...I know the outside of my carrier is cloth and the inside is laminated...but I just want to be 100% sure before I take her in it...don't want to run into any problems.

Has anyone actually taken their dog on a flight in this carrier??
I SERIOUSLY doubt they will question the cloth issue. I'm surprised when the even acknowledge you have a dog with you. I think you will be just fine.
