So far, we only had one dog that we PTS, a Japanese Spitz. He was a grown up stray at first, very distrusting towards human because I think he was abused before but his temperament was wonderful. We literally me and my sis took a month to just earn his trust enough to follow us home. After he was home with us, we couldn't even touch him for another month or maybe a few (don't remember anymore-it was long). He stayed ever since for about 5 years until he was old. He was the best dog ever, very grateful and very obedient. I adopted a shih-tzu later on from the shelter and he got along with the little guy. I still think of him frequently and misses him dearly. |
