I havent ever fed my dogs canned food. Once I decided kibble wasn't the way to go I just switched to raw. On the raw, their poop is firm, dry, and small. My cats have eaten canned though and their poop was pretty normal, although it's harder and smaller on the raw. I would think that any grain-free canned foods would give poops closer to the raw as you don't have the bulk of the grain fillers being pooped out.
