Am I understanding correctly that this behavior started after the episode at the groomer's a year ago? It sounds like she was traumatized so she started the guarding thing, and that behavior went on for a long time, and now it is getting more out of control with the more aggressive behavior and biting. Have you had her to the vet during this time, and have you mentioned it while there? If not, I would talk to the vet first and see what they recommend. I would first want to rule out any medical issues that could be causing her behavior. If it's nothing medical, then I would check into training for her. Good luck!! |
