 dang sand burrs!!!!
I usually put a tshirt over Maggie to cover her long hair and pull it up with a rubber band to fit snuggly over her tummy..... I try to keep her on the beach or walkway....I do not let her go exploring during this season.......Max has shorter hair but gets them in his fringe (schnauzer cut)
If you carefully snip just around the burr....you will cause less pain and spare some hair.
