How old is Morgan? I know when I had my puppy, she would want to play with Toby, my cat (declawed also), and Toby would just put his paw on her head and kinda play back. I know when I got Charlie (our golden/spaniel mix) he wanted to be in Toby's face and they would "fight" (Toby would hiss and get on his hinds) but they have slowly gotten over it. Toby wasn't used to dogs and now he's learning.
