Hi, it does sound like Gigi has a need for a companion. I had Zander for a year, I wanted to make sure he was potty trained, obedient, so that if I got another yorkie, she would learn good things from him. He had always been quiet, layed back, very mellow. The day I brought Jazzie home, I walked straight to the backyard, less territorial. He was like, what is thattt? Jazzie was 4 months, she began to play and chase Zander. I had never seen him so ALIVE!! He chased and played with her for a long time. When I brought them in they were tired, layed down for a nap together. He still loves to follow me around the house, he loves to be held. Jazzie was more, I want to be with Zander, so I took her, held her while I groomed her, carried her around and eventually she also became mommies girl

. Its fun to watch them play, chase each other & so on. The part that can get tough is having the double expense for vet bills, boarding, etc. I would not trade it

Good luck.
Oooh, Zander was like Gigi, would not tinkle anywhere but home, I was told by a dog trainer, the moment he gets up instead of taking him to your backyard, take him for a walk, that way he will tinkle elsewhere and get past the I can only tinkle in my backyard. It worked. Give Gigi time, she is excited about things being NEW.
