exactly what I was thinking. I pay $40 a month for the babie's pet medical insurance. And there are yorkie out their for under 1000 that are affordable. I know someone who paid 600 for a akc yorkie that is 2 yrs old and is and always has been a healthy puppy that is the picture perfect of a yorkie. Again it comes down to patience conserving saving and finding the right breeder for the person. I know there are good breeders that sell their pups for more then a 1000 but there are also some that sell them for less.
