Hi all.... I need some advice on spaying my two yorkies...
1. Should I get them both done at the same time?
2. Should I request the vet to use a specific anesthesia? (Oxiglobin? any other suggestions?)
3. Will they do my little one (5 1/2 months) if she hasn't had her first cycle yet? Someone told me that if I wanted her to always have a smooth belly (boobs not affected by hormones yet.. still has the "puppy" belly and not the "nipple effect" ) that I needed to have her spayed BEFORE her cycle begins.
4. Is it better to leave them overnight or bring them home? Does the size matter in recovery? Dixie is 4 lbs and Daisha is 2 lbs.
5. What does this procedure usually cost? Again, does the size matter?

I am calling my vet this morning to ask these questions to her, but wanted to get other's opinions. I saw a webpage about a tiny Yorkie that had a procedure done and it DIED. I have been scared to death ever since!!!
