Thank you so much, I'm definitely excited but I still have nervous moments and thoughts from time to time. At least, though, I think I've passed the denial stage now of "what have I done?".
Four more days and I'm getting ready. I got a pen last week - an 8-panel x 2ft with a door. Dodger is completely paper trained, but being only 14 weeks, I'm not sure how well he'll do going outside. I'm planning on being with him Friday to Monday since I can work from home and starting Tuesday he'll be on his own.
So I have 2 questions:
Should I bother taking him outside at all since no one will be here while I'm out and I don't expect him to hold it until I return?
I'm thinking of creating a "poop" area: attach a small crate to the opening of the cage and place the paper/pee pads there. This way he'll have more room to play and the poop will be confined. Has anyone tried this?

PS - Piptickle, have you picked up your pup yet? How are you doing?
